In the fourth quarter of 2024, the superhero game category on Android saw notable performances in South Africa. Here's a closer look at the top five games, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Spider Fighter 3: Action Game from Starplay DMCC experienced a significant increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $74 by the end of December. Downloads exhibited a steady rise, reaching a high of 28.2K mid-December. Meanwhile, active users increased from 47.2K to 76.8K throughout the quarter.

Spider Fighter 2 also from Starplay DMCC, showed a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at 15.8K in early December. Weekly active users climbed from 79.6K to 97.6K by mid-December, although revenue remained relatively low.

The Superhero League 2 by Lion Studios saw a fluctuating download trend, with a peak at 11.7K in late October. Active users grew from 27.6K to 32.4K in October before stabilizing around 26.6K toward the year's end.
